The Leamington Business Awards were judged by a panel of business experts comprising Business Forums founder, Jonathan Smith; Roger Scott, Area Director of SME banking, Lloyds Bank; Business consultant and mentor, David Hanson; Sarah Windrum, Emerald IT Chief Executive; and Louise Richards, co-founder of Motionhouse.

Judge, Jonathan Smith, said: “Having been on the judging panel since the Leamington Business Awards began, I can honestly say this was the toughest year to judge because the quality of entries was so high. It was particularly pleasing to see entries from such a wide range of organisations across Leamington and South Warwickshire, as well as numerous entries to the Young Person category. On behalf of everyone on the panel, I would like to congratulate all the finalists and thank everyone who took the time to enter.”

All finalists will be considered for the Judges’ Choice Business of the Year award. Winners in all categories will be revealed at the awards dinner on the 16th November at The Assembly, Leamington.

The fifth Leamington Business Awards, sponsored by The Box Factory, looks set to be a fantastic event. As well as celebrating Leamington’s business achievements, the non-profit making event will also raise money for local charities, Springfield Mind and The Ups of Downs.

Awards organiser, Harrison Beale & Owen (HB&O), is calling on local businesses to support the fundraising event.

Mark Ashfield, Managing Director of HB&O, said: “This year’s Leamington Business Awards ceremony offers a great opportunity for businesses to support two fantastic local charities, through the donation of raffle prizes, or items for our gift boxes. We’d like to hear from organisations who are keen to join our existing sponsors in supporting this event.”
