Entry deadline extended to 9th July!
The deadline for entries to the Leamington Business Awards has been extended until the 9th July, giving businesses an extra two weeks to get involved.
The Leamington Business Awards, sponsored by The Box Factory, is run by the town, for the town and is a great way to showcase all the fantastic work being done by Leamington businesses, charities and young people.
As well as extending the entry deadline, we are pleased to announce that Roger Scott from Lloyds Bank has joined the judging panel. Roger brings over 30 years’ experience of working with SMEs. He replaces Chris White who has stepped down from his role as judge, following the recent General Election.
Mark Ashfield, Managing Director of HB&O chartered accountants, which organises the awards, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Roger Scott to the judging panel – his experience will be invaluable in assessing the entries. We would also like to thank Chris White for his support since the awards launched over three years ago.”
In light of recent changes to the panel, and in response to feedback from businesses, the Leamington Business Awards will no longer feature public voting. Instead, all entries will be assessed by the judging panel.
Mark Ashfield added: “The Leamington Business Awards has always been about ensuring businesses of all sizes and types have an opportunity to shine. Simplifying the judging process and ensuring our panel brings a mix of valuable business and non profit experience will ensure those who enter are independently assessed on their own merits.”
The awards are open to all businesses and charities based in Leamington Spa. To find out more and enter, visit the award categories page
The Leamington Business Awards will culminate in an award ceremony at the iconic Royal Pump Rooms on the 10th November. As well as showcasing Leamington’s business achievements, the non-profit making event will also raise money for two chosen charities – Helping Hands and Love Leamington.
The Leamington Business Awards is proudly supported by a number of local businesses including: The Box Factory, Aubrey Allen, The Royal Priors, Trelawny, IAPS, Lodders, Warwickshire College, BID Leamington, Bravissimo, Istead and Wright Hassell.
