Customer Service Excellence

This category is open to any business that can demonstrate excellence in customer service. Judges will be looking for evidence of how you embed a culture of customer service across your organisation, training, how you seek and act on feedback from customers and any strategies in place to ensure you provide the highest level of customer care.

Shortlisted entrants may be asked to provide additional information such as annual turnover and profit. This is for judging purposes and will only be shared with the awards administrative team and judges.

    • Evidence which shows your business is truly customer-focused. For example, do you train your staff in customer service, and if so, how? Do you have a customer feedback/complaint process?
    • Examples of what action you take to provide excellent customer service. For example:
      • Are you a health clinic providing extended opening hours to cater for commuters?
      • Are you a retailer that has trained staff to aid customers with additional needs
      • Do you offer flexible products and services?
      • Do you ask for feedback on your service and make changes where needed?
      • Can you cite an example?
    • Any steps you take to ensure your team continues to deliver the highest quality customer service eg through mystery shopping or staff awards etc.
